This week's coupon contest...

Apparently the post I made yesterday never went through, so here is this week's contest for an envelope full of coupons!

I am have been coming up with questions each week for my readers to help myself and other readers, so this week's question is... What would you like me to ask my other readers? What question would you love to see several answers to? It could be a home question, cooking or recipes question, parenting question...whatever you are interested in!

So, leave me a comment for your entry and I will select a winner on Saturday morning. Thanks!

I'm new to your blog. So my question would be, what "dream" are you saving towards?

Thanks for including me.

I am wondering how much time you spend per week on your "Pursuit of Frugality?" Say, on couponing, blog reading, preparing lists, circular reading, etc. I have been wondering if I am spending more time than others out there. Thanks!

What is your favorite way to save? Clipping coupons? Yard sales? Hand me downs? Ebaying? Thanks for the opportunity.

My question(s) would be: Do you stockpile? How long did it take to really get it going? Thanks!

I'd love to hear the story behind how your readers first began couponing...did their mom teach them, did they find a blog, did they begin on their own once they got married, etc.

I would love to see a variety of EASY recipes. I'm not a very good cook at all, and I am constantly looking for recipes that are yummy but won't overwhelm my very minimal cooking abilities.

Thanks!

Hi! My question is what do you do with surplus supplies that you might have gotten free using coupons and store specials/ clubs that you can't possibly use or use before they expire?

I have a newbie question. No matter what I do, I can't print coupons from alot of the sites online (bricks etc). I have a mac which I know is an issue, but I haven't been able to find a work around. Some suggestions would be appreciated!!!

I have two questions:
1. How much do you spend monthly on meat products (approximately)? I just want to guage and see if I'm being too cheap or spending too much.
2. What are some of your and the other reader's favorite crockpot recipes. I love comparing mine to other girls. :)

Thanks!

When you stockpile how do you determine what you need and how much you need? Also, do you do a price guide for groceries and how do you keep track of this? Any other way than manually - does this information feed from any groceries?

New to your blog. I love to hear about being frugal. I am a rookie at this! My question though, involves parenting. I have seen several blogs of homeschooling, frugal, moms of 4 or more children. I have 3 girls, 11, 3 and 17 months. I became a stay at home mom in Feb. of this year. The 3 year old is becoming quite rebellious and the one year old is finding her independence. How do you keep control of the house with two little ones without it being chaos? Not just chores but discipline and activities. I am overwhelmed at times.

Look forward to reading you blog!

I would like to see how people manage space issues (i.e., living in a small space) with trying to find deals and stockpiling.

Does anyone coupon at Target? I attempted last night, but ended up not getting some items and took my coupons back. I had coupons from Facebook, and many of them had nice overages. However, at Target, they would make the value of the coupon the price of the product. I asked about it, and the guy had the manager come over, and he said the same. So, I know that I will never attempt to coupon at Target again. I will go to Wal-Mart. But when a coupon has a specific amount on it, such as $3.50 off and the product is $2.89, shouldn't I be making 61 cents on that? In my area, all I have is Wal-Mart, Hy-Vee, Target, & Fareway. No CVS, Kroger, or the other great stores. I had coupons for Target, so decided to use others there. But that won't be happening again. Can anyone please clarify if I should have had the full value of the coupon or not? Thanks for the great blog!

I would like to know what your readers do when a store won't take a coupon, because it won't scan, or it's an internet coupon, etc. Thanks so much.

Thanks for the chance to win.

I have a mac and find it really tricky to print coupons, too, so I'm wondering if anyone has any solutions.

Thanks!

I would like to know how you organize your stockpile and/or how you deal with cashiers who get nasty while trying to use coupons. Thanks for the giveaway!

I am new to your blog and new to couponing. What is the best way to start organizing coupons? What, if any, tricks/tactics are there to help a newbie to this? Thanks so much.

I just found your blog yesterday. I am discovering several really helpful money saving blogs and I love it!

So I have a couple of questions for you.

- Can you recommend a great site or resource for creating a coupon binder? I have found several, but they just aren't detailed enough for me. I am not a details sort of girl, so I need the step by step direction of how to REALLY organize my coupons!

-Do you have a system for researching your deals and moneysavers for the week? Im looking for a way to get it all done, but not end up spending the entire day doing so.

- Finally, do you make any extra money at home from a legit source?

I would really like to learn "how to coupon", I have always just gotten the Sunday Paper and clipped out coupons and used them, but you guys seem to take it to a whole other level and I have no clue where to start, but I do know that I would love to save money!
